Things I've built outside client work, usually to learn something properly. Languages and last-updated dates come straight from GitHub.
Full-screen onboarding chatbot that runs a client discovery conversation end to end. A flow detector routes each message between discovery and knowledge answering, a gatekeeper agent sits ahead of the router, conversation state and completion rules are tracked per session, and a finished discovery composes a project brief and renders it to DOCX.
A modern, editable resume builder with real-time preview, multiple templates, and PDF export.
Pool-first banking sandbox built on Next.js 14 + Supabase (Auth, Postgres, Realtime, RPC). Admin console: set pool total, grant/return funds, adjust user balance, freeze/unfreeze, set limits, mark KYC verified, flag transactions, and review audit with counterparty details, search, pagination, and fullscreen tables. User side: register/login, auto account creation, live balance/held view, transfers with limits/freeze enforcement, beneficiaries quick-fill, notifications feed (credits, debits, freezes, limits), and realtime activity stream without reloads. Backend: all money moves via stored procedures (allocate_from_pool, return_to_pool, transfer_between_users, admin_adjust_user_balance), audit + notifications on every action, RLS on accounts/transactions/notifications, and Supabase realtime channels for accounts/transactions/notifications so UI updates instantly.
WooCommerce request-for-quote system with inline product forms, session/user cart, AJAX add/remove, and single-submit quote requests stored as a custom post type.

Luxury travel agency site rebuilt from PHP in Next.js 16. Every page is driven by JSON content managed through a login-protected admin panel with a schema-driven form editor, image uploads and zod validation, while trip inquiry, contact and newsletter forms land in an admin inbox with CSV export.
Website chat assistant that answers from a curated knowledge base rather than guessing. Embeddable widget, admin console for clients, knowledge and chat sessions, retrieval-grounded replies, and content ingestion via Playwright and Cheerio.
Suite of Elementor widgets with dashboard toggles; includes a download card widget with auto file type detection, size display, and fully styleable button/icon.
Next.js fashion storefront with a product catalogue, shop pages and cart flow, styled with Tailwind and Font Awesome iconography.
Custom Shopify storefront theme in Liquid, built on Shopify's section and block architecture with configurable settings, locales and reusable snippets.
Next.js application with route-group separated public and protected areas, credential auth over Prisma with hashed passwords and JWT sessions, and a Postgres schema behind it.
HOW I WORK
Four steps. The order rarely changes. How long each one takes depends on the project.
Before any code: what needs to change, who uses it, and how we’ll know it worked.
I turn the requirements into a plan with as few moving parts as the job allows. Fewer parts, fewer things to break later.
You see progress as it happens. Each pass covers the interface, the code behind it, and the edge cases that turn up between the two.
Real users find things testing missed. Sorting those out is part of the job.

I’m Noman Khaliq, a web developer in Karachi. I like work where the screen and the code behind it both have to be right, like a loan-officer directory that’s only useful if its search returns the right people.
Software someone opens every day to get their job done. A demo that only looks right in a screenshot doesn’t count.
Which plugin writes to which table, what calls which API, and what breaks when one of them is slow or down.
Real users find problems that planning never does. The first release is rarely the best one, so the work carries on past it.
